Every lady dreams of having lush, dramatically fluttery eyelashes. While some of you are blessed with naturally long and glistening ones, the rest of us aren’t. That’s no reason to give up now.
The falsies are here to rescue you! They are quite a brilliant invention for sure, but putting on the false eyelashes may prove to be charming problematic too!
The foremost rule or reason for wearing falsies is to make your eye-lashes appearance phenomenally breathtaking, yet convincingly natural.
Here are some of the most common do’s and don’ts for stepping up your eyelash game using falsies!
#1 Don’t apply false eyelashes directly.
The entire goal of wearing false eyelashes is to have stunningly long and glistening yet natural-looking eyelashes. Never wear falsies without trimming them to the length of your eyelash line. If you leave them hanging, they will pull down over your eyes and not appear the least bit flattering. Measure your eyelash line and reduce your falsies to the specific length, making sure that you cut them from the outer corner and not from the inside.
#2 Apply the eyelash glue like a pro!
The amount of eyelash glue that you apply to your falsies is crucial for their eventual appearance. Always use a small amount at the center and more at the corners. Ensure that you evenly spread out the glue across the eyelash band.
#3 Don’t go overboard with the glue!
Too much glue can prove to be detrimental to your natural eyelashes. Always apply a bare minimum quantity of glue to the eyelash band. Excessive glue can get on the inside of your eyes, causing much irritation to them.
#4 Too much glue can prove to be detrimental to your natural eyelashes.
Always apply a bare minimum quantity of glue to the eyelash band. Excessive glue can get on the inside of your eyes, causing much irritation to them.
We all know that fresh glue can be a bit slippery. Avoid applying the false eyelashes right after you have used the glue onto the eyelash band. Once the glue has been put on, let it air dry for a few seconds to permit its stickiness to surface. Then, put it carefully on your eyelash line.
#5 Stick your eyelashes right on your eyelash line!
How you put your false eyelashes on your natural ones plays a crucial part in your final appearance. Be sure that you stick your falsies right on your eyelash line without leaving any space in between. You could all the time, use a pair of tweezers to get those desired levels of precision.
#6 Don’t skip applying mascara!
Apply a coat of mascara onto your false eyelashes to make them blend in with your natural ones. It’ll help provide the much-desired lift to your eyelashes and make them appearance seamlessly stunning!
#7 Don’t Touch them!
Avoid plucking, pulling, yanking, and twisting your eyelashes. If you want them gone, book in for a professional removal to get them removed secured. If not, it is possible to damage your natural eyelashes causing hair loss (no thanks!)

#9 Don’t Slap on the facial oils and heavy moisturizers
Conditioners, heavy night creams, and facial oils will slowly loosen the bond of the eyelash glue – causing eyelashes to fall out prematurely. When applying your moisturizer, avoid the eye area altogether. If you have to attack those dark circles, dab your eye lotion on with your ring finger for a more precise application. In the shower, wash your hair by tilting your head back to avoid any item washing into your eyelash line. Better yet, have a bath!
#10 Don’t wet your eyelashes for the first 24hrs
Aftercare is essential to give your lashes the final chance of staying in. The salon advises not to get your extensions wet for the first 24hrs, so avoid your eyes when you are washing your face, and possibly leave washing your hair that day!
How to pick the right falsies
With many products flooding the markets and both rave reviews, how does one select the ideal faux-pair? It’s really quite simple; there are two main components to factor in—one, the shape of your eyes, and second the occasion.
If you have smaller eyes, use individual eyelashes to match your face. For bigger, bolder almond eyes use strips to elongate. Please keep it simple, classy, and formal for a more natural appearance during the day. At night dare to go wild, experiment with luxuriously long eyelashes, glitter, metallic tones, and amp up the curls!
