What Kind of Fake Eyelashes Are Better for Quinceañeras?

  • The Most Popular Types of Falsies for Your Quince
        • 1. Individual Lashes
        • 2. Lash Extensions
        • 3. Strip Lashes
    • How To Apply Fake Eyelashes

Whether you like your face caked or not, the day of your quinceañera is not the time to go bare!  Lash extensions are always a must-have to add an extra touch to your look and photos, even if you go for a natural look.

Fake lashes come in various sizes and styles, so choose the one that is convenient, affordable, appealing, and most comfortable as you dance the night away!

Pro-tip: I recommend wearing a pair of your favorite falsies, a crown, and a dress when rehearsing for the big day or even while taking lessons for your quinceanera dances.

The Most Popular Types of Falsies for Your Quince

1. Individual Lashes

The most natural-looking false eyelashes available! Even though they’re only for one day, they’re just right for your quince, especially if you don’t wear make-up often. Individuals can be styled in any way and are easy to conceal between your natural lashes.

2. Lash Extensions

If you like the flirty look that eyelashes provide, extensions are for you! Extensions can last up to eight weeks! Imagine waking up every morning without having to apply mascara because you already have a full set of false lashes!

3. Strip Lashes

Full-on stripped lashes are the most commonly worn ones; these falsies are extremely easy to apply, so they are so popular! Plastic, human hair, silk, and mink are commonly used. Common Mink falsies we recommend:

  • Natural Mink Lashes
  • Glam Mink Lashes
  • Dramatic Mink Lashes

Mink lashes are by far the most popular, recommended, and preferred type of strip eyelashes. These lashes are of higher quality and can be used multiple times. They’re also easier to apply, and the delicate detailing makes them look super flirty! Mink falsies are more popular among make-up enthusiasts who enjoy having fluttery lashes.

How To Apply Fake Eyelashes

What You’ll Need:

  • Lash extensions
  • Q-tip (cut in half)
  • Brush for eyeliner
  • glue for eyelashes
  • Scissors in miniature

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. After measuring how much you’ll need for your lid, trim the excess part of the false lashes. Here’s a link to a quick guide:
  2. Apply eyelash adhesive glue to the upper edge of your lash line with the eyeliner brush.
  3. Place the false lashes above your natural lashes.
  4. Secure the position of the fake lashes with the end of the Q-tip to perfectly surround your eyelid.
  5. Apply a smidgeon of your favorite mascara to finish.
